12,208 Thelymitra hatchii, from Erua, 6/01/01 named after the late Dan Hatch, an amateur botanist who dedicated himself to NZ orchids. Dan named it Thelymitra pachyphylla but Lucy Moore changed it to honour Dan’s excellent work on the orchids.
