Curiously, this phenomenal canyon is not named after this tumultuous river, but after the Jökla, whose deafening sound prevents us from hearing anything else, not even that of humans. However, because the recording was made a little out of the way, with the idea of capturing the sounds of the wildlife that is of course very present here, the video's soundtrack lets us hear the surely powerful song of a bird.
