Creature of the forest

I met this unusual creature in the forest. 🙂
The photo was taken with a smartphone by cha-cha, because I was too lazy to get my stereo camera out of my bag. Actually, it started as a joke and I wondered what it would look like with this tool. The original pictures look somewhat painty, I don't know if a mode was enabled by accident or if it is because of low light conditions to hide sensor noise. It may look good at first glance, but it is hard to work with the data afterwards.
I used hugin to align the image, inkscape to draw the stereoscopic window, krita to paint the white additions and finally gimp to assemble everything. It was also the occasion to apply a new stereoscopic window shape that I thought of, and which I finally find better than the old pointy bottom I already used in such situations.
