I don't understand all of the Vudu going on behind the Hydrogen's tech, but it just looks different than other autostereoscopic screens. If you ever get a chance to play with one try it out.
I wonder how the screen of the RH1 looks like, but I guess it would be even harder to get a decent stereophoto of it, and moreover it would be only two views. Maybe a traveling of a camera from left to right can help to have a sense of it. By the way, I do not understand why a lightfield display would reduce the sensation caused by window violations.
I should note that this image was taken on my Red Hydrogen One which handles stereo a little differently on its Lightfield display. This image hasn't been corrected for the stereo window. The Hydrogen's display tends to be more impressive with images "popping out". It just crossed my mind that it may have an unfavorable stereo window position for other viewing methods. I will try to keep that in mind moving forward.
Sure, I used parallel freeview with a photo displayed on an area of ~17cm width at a resolution of ~190ppi when I commented. Just tested with autostereoscopic screen (~12cm/~200ppi per eye) and I see the same thing. There is also a window violation that I did not noticed in freeview (my brain has a tendency to change the window position with this method when WV occures) but is very present on the screen (the image is anchored to the frame of the device). It does not prevent to see the depth, which is very pronounced here, but it is not pleasant to me to stay viewing this image more than a few seconds, especially when compared with other comfortable images published by digapic (or other people) in which it is pleasant to take time to look at the details.
The image filter you used creates very noticeable rivalries that work against a comfortable viewing, but depth is visible.
