View-Master Projectors

Taken 12/12/2022 with iPhone, a slide bar, two small led fill lights and two poster boards.
These View-Master Projectors were gifted to me by friends and family (who know I like 3D and View-Master). They discover them at antique malls and flea markets. When used these projectors become very hot. Thanks (?)

Unfortunately, they only project a single image at a time.

Do they project only a view at the time, or is there some polarized light mixing the two views together for 3D projection?
