Fountain

This fountain is present in the park of the museum "Maison de l'eau" (House of water), Le Mans, France.
Originally, I wanted to shoot a stream going outside of the frame, but by turning around the fountain, I realized that this viewpoint was very good and would probably give better image than my first idea with less effort.

The "X" key is working very nicely with your viewer. For detailed inspections i still prefere SPM because you can use the left and right cursor key to move to an object during the wobbling of the picture.

I would not say perfect synchronization neither.

I opened my LX5 cameras to change their wiring so that, among other things, the shutter button of one camera triggers both cameras. The shooting signal is thus very fast, perfect enough, but the firmware seem to be different in the two models, so that the software path is different, leading to occasions to introduce errors in synchronization. Also, the reactivity is "slow" (fast but perceptible) so that I suspect that the software use a "slow" polling of the button state prone to introduce additional jitter (that might compensate or accentuate sync errors).

The "drops jumping up and down the picture" evoked by path2018 can also be observed directly on Stereopix: select a monoscopic viewing mode and press X on keyboard to swap left/right at the speed you want. By doing so, you might also notice that the alignment is not very good (I did not master it at this time, and it is a bit hard on this image anyway). But even considering it, the movement of the drops is very noticeable.

Peter, please load this picture in SPM (Stereo Photo Maker)
Hit STRG (CTRL) and F11.
If you see drops jumping up and down the picture is not sync.

You may want to use this table:
perfect: exact 0,000 ms missynch
0,000 < excellent <= 0,100 (1/10000s)
0,100 < superior <= 0,200 (1/5000s)
0,200 < very good <= 0,250 (1/4000s)
0,250 < good <= 0,500 (1/2000s)
0,500 < sufficient <= 1,000 (1/1000s)
1,000 < bad <= 2,000 (1/500s)
2,000 < insufficient <= 5,000 (1/200s)
5,000 < inadequate <= 10,000 (1/100s)
larger 10,000 (1/100s): NOT acceptable
