Porte Saint-Mathurin

This is the Saint-Mathurin gate in Bourg-le-Roi, France. This little village is one of the smallest villages of France [7th by area] with its 36 hectares and 320 inhabitants, but was a strategic city in the medieval period, hence the fortifications around it. It remains mainly two impressive gates, two large parts of the enclosure wall and the ruins of the observation tower to control the countryside.
My left lens has dust and I had to edit the photo to reduce rivalries.
