Canal of Huelgoat

This canal starts in the lake of the village named Huelgoat, France. It meanders in the village, then passes through the majestic forest and finish in high cascade after a path of about 3km. It was built in the 18th century to power the hydraulic pumps of the silver-lead mine, which was exploited since antiquity but regain interest in this period. Nowadays, it powers an electrical generator for the national company of electricity.
